Roy Johnson Jr.

Roy Johnson Jr. serves as a Maintenance Technician, supporting the upkeep and maintenance of port property and facilities. Since joining the organization in 2026, he has contributed to daily operations by ensuring equipment, infrastructure, and grounds are properly maintained. Roy brings nearly eight years of experience with the City of Catoosa Maintenance Department, including three years in a supervisory role, where he developed strong leadership and operational skills. He is certified in Class C and D water and sewer systems and has experience operating equipment and leading teams. Known for being hardworking, knowledgeable, and eager to learn, Roy takes pride in setting a positive example through his work. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Ashleigh and their three daughters. He values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, and appreciates being part of an environment where training and development are emphasized.
